About emerge

At emerge pilates, we believe strength and confidence are things you can build at any stage of life.

We are not a group fitness studio. Emerge is a semi-private space designed for people who want meaningful, consistent progress. Each person has a dedicated weekly time, creating a rhythm and commitment that helps you show up for yourself and your health.

Because classes are small, we get to know your body, your goals, and how you move. Together, we build strength, alignment, and confidence through thoughtful, evolving programs tailored to you.

Every month brings something new: fresh workouts that challenge you and move you closer to your goals. We begin with the reformer as our foundation and will add other apparatus as the studio grows.

At emerge, it is not about perfection. It is about progress, consistency, and rediscovering what your body can do.

About Natalie

Hi, I’m Natalie, founder of emerge pilates.

Pilates changed my life. After an illness left me in chronic pain, I struggled to do the things I loved - running, lifting, and moving freely. Through pilates, I found a way forward. It helped me rebuild strength, and gave me the confidence to return to the sports and adventures I thought I’d lost.

That experience shapes everything I do as a teacher. I know what it feels like to be limited by pain, fatigue, or the changes that come with midlife. And I also know the joy of discovering that your body is capable of more than you imagined no matter your age.

For years, I focused on what my body looked like. The real shift came when I started focusing on what my body could do. That perspective changed everything, and it’s what I want for you too.

I believe movement is a form of future-proofing. It is an investment in yourself that pays off in energy, strength, and confidence now, while building resilience for the years ahead. Yes, our bodies change as life moves forward, but those changes don’t have to hold us back. With the right approach, you can feel stronger, fitter, and more capable than you ever imagined (at any age).

For me, movement isn’t a chore - it’s what keeps me motivated and uplifted each day. I lift, I run, I practice pilates, and I’ve completed marathons, ultramarathons, and even competed as a Formula One powerboat pilot. But my goal isn’t to turn you into an athlete (unless that’s what you want) - it’s to help you feel strong, capable, and confident in your life, whether that means playing with your kids, hiking on vacation, or simply getting through the day with more energy.

With over 500 hours of pilates training across all apparatus and ongoing study through Balanced Body, I blend technical knowledge with lived experience - helping others move out of pain, rebuild strength, and rediscover joy in movement.

At emerge, my mission is simple: to help you rebuild strength, restore confidence, and move in ways that support your passions outside the studio. You’ll find a welcoming space here, free of judgment, where you can discover what your body is capable of and emerge stronger, more resilient, and more confident than before.
